To do more for our clients, we have recently transitioned our Portfolio Management team to a fully independent firm, and we are looking for someone to join our Edmonton head office. We are fortunate enough to have a high growth investment management practice, and we need an experienced Client Service Associate to join our team. This is a rare career position in Edmonton. The person that we are looking for will have a profound impact, working to ensure the accuracy of our data, the efficiency of our business operations, and safekeeping of our clients' life savings. Position overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Client Service Associate with a background in the Canadian Financial Services Industry to play a crucial role in our business. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in fast paced, technology focused, front-office and mid-office environments.
Responsibilities
Supporting the Front Office team in daily business workflows such as onboarding, recording annual profile updates & all client requests.
Maintaining internal business system information to support the client relationship (Portfolio Management System, Client Portal, CRM, digital onboarding & electronic signature processing).
Supporting the ongoing business activities of the firm such as issuance of client statements & tax reports, collection of management fees and client events.
Collaboration with front office, mid-office and back-office teams in support of daily business operations.
Provide support in the development and enhancement of operational processes and business systems (such as software testing).
Proactively provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in all business operations.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an investment operation within the Canadian financial industry.
Experience working within leading industry software environments such as Salesforce CRM, digital onboarding & e-signature (Adobe Sign, Docusign or similar) and Enterprise Wealth Management Platforms is a significant plus.
Formal education in Business, or a related field is advantageous.
Skills & abilities
Proficiency in all core applications of the Microsoft Office Suite.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
