  • President, Portfolio Manager

    Marshall brings over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, starting his career as a bank teller at Alberta Treasury Branches while attending university. His journey has since evolved, leading him to his current role as leader at North Road. With a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance from the University of Alberta and the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®), Marshall has built a deep expertise in wealth management.

    Outside of his professional life, Marshall enjoys travelling, playing padel tennis, and experiencing great music at places like The Winspear and the Edmonton Folk Music Festival. Some of his favourite moments are spent with his three children and his wife’s two children, gathering around the fire at their cottage on Lake Wabamun.

    With over 20 years of business and advisory experience, Cary expertly combines financial planning and investment management to help clients make informed decisions about their wealth and families. After graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce in Japanese Studies from the University of Alberta, Cary earned his designations as a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).

    Outside of work, Cary is committed to building stronger communities and volunteers on the finance committee for Edmonton’s Zebra Child & Youth Advocacy Centre. He also secretly loves chauffeuring his two kids to sports and music activities (but don’t tell them).

    As an experienced Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified Financial Planner and a U.S. Certified Public Accountant, Wayne leads the Private Client Division at Trowbridge and thrives on problem solving and making complex tax matters less daunting for his international clients. Having worked extensively in Canada, the U.K & Mexico with travel to over 90 countries, Wayne joined Trowbridge Professional Corporation in 2002 with a vision to give the firm a global platform by educating and advising expatriates on their personal tax needs.

    Wayne is frequently sought out as a panelist and subject matter expert, presenting worldwide on tax compliancy issues and tax obligations for expats living and working abroad.
